Suspect sought in Royal Oak bank robbery

ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WJBK) -

Royal Oak police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning at the Fifth Third bank located at 29710 Woodward near the intersection of Woodward and Carmen Avenue.

Police say the suspect, described as a medium-dark skinned black male, 6'2"-6'4", 30-40 years old with a goatee, wearing gardening gloves walked up to a teller, passed a note demanding money, and indicated he had a gun. No weapon was ever seen.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspect fled the area.

No one was injured during this robbery.
