ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Department of Community Health officials have established a framework for insurance plans that will be offered to state employees next year.

Department of Community Health spokeswoman Pam Keene says the department's board voted Thursday to approve 2015 member contribution rates and plan designs for the State Health Benefit Plan. Keene says officials will begin working with vendors to finalize plan details.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia will provide reimbursement arrangement plans, a statewide HMO and Medicare Advantage.

UnitedHealthcare will provide a statewide high deductible plan, a statewide HMO and Medicare Advantage.

Kaiser Permanente will provide a fully insured HMO for members who live in the 27-county metro Atlanta service area.

Officials say open enrollment will be held Oct. 27 through Nov. 14 for the 2015 plan year.
