Sun Valley High senior Tyler Griffiths has committed to play football at North Carolina State University after graduation.
Griffiths is a long snapper for the Spartans and is accepting a full scholarship.
"My parents, my whole family, everybody is really supportive," Griffiths said. "My friends, the whole school -- everybody has always pushed me to get better. I really wouldn't be here without everybody who loved me and cared enough to push me where I'm at right now."
Griffiths has only been a long snapper for 15 months. He says he decided to pick up the position after realizing he was a bit too small to play college football at any other position.
Griffiths said that attending a Rubio Long Snapping camp helped him get to where he is today.
"He's basically the most credible long-snapping coach in the country," Griffiths said. "He's a great guy and he helps a lot of kids get to college."
