Newton Police say they used social media to identify a person of interest in the Maggie Daniels case. Police have not released the person’s name, but say they are no longer considering that individual a person of interest.
The NPD said they, along with the SBI interviewed a person with whom the Newton-Conover counselor had issues with in the past.
They say they are continuing to review multiple social media sites looking for additional tips and leads. Investigators are continuing today with additional interviews and conducting re-interviews.
