NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Ah, a steamy night In Central Park: perfect for an evening picnic. What, too much trouble to Tupperware up your dinner and drag it out on the great lawn? Now there's an app for that.

Delivery.com now delivers food to people in Central Park. Simply download the app, click on Summer Central, and order what you want using a credit card.

Before you know it, here comes your food, thanks to the delivery guy willing to pedal on grass.

Delivery.com employees ordered up a meal to demonstrate for us how it works. Neeraj Sharma, the VP of marketing, says the delivery person will contact you once you place your order and you can use a landmark to tell him or her where to find you.

On the first day, Delivery.com had a couple dozen orders. The services hopes demand grows. If it does, so will the menu. Right now it is a pilot summer program. If it is a success, the company will expand to other parks in the city.
