Known for my unconventional reports, I am a digital journalist for My FOX Carolinas in Charlotte. I was born a long time ago in Syracuse, New York. Since then I have spent most of my life in Pennsylvania and Colorado. My biggest weakness: I have no weaknesses. I’m a smooth operator, operating correctly, and a master of journalism according to the University of Colorado.

The summer reading saga continues at Mountain Island Library.

This time, they brought in ‘The Nature Lady,’ who was sporting a live lizard earring, to teach kids about insects, arachnids and insectivores, which are carnivores that eat insects.

The idea is to get children into the library and checking out books to read while on summer vacation.

The summer reading programs are offered at all Charlotte-Mecklenburg locations up until early August.

For information on the programs going on at your favorite branch, visit the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library.
