I took a break from the business to start a family and build a Sports Media consultancy, but never lost the “bug.”
I am ecstatic to be back in the Carolinas, and back on air! I spent fifteen years in the broadcast new business before taking a break to start a family, write a book and build a Sports Media consultancy. While I certainly enjoyed my new directions, I never lost the “bug.”

Charlotte, NC - Matt Murphy started drag racing when he was five-years old.  After taking part in NASCAR's Driver Diversity program, he got his own car... and continues to burn it up on the track at age 14.  He even has his own brand... http://www.mattmurphymotorsports.com  Why racing?  Perhaps because of his grandfather, Clarence Millner, who raced 470 stock cars in the 1960's.  Both of them stopped by our WJZY studio to chat with @Fox46Barbara for My Fox Carolinas Live.
