Tens of thousands will be celebrating the July 4th holiday at BB&T Ballpark in uptown Charlotte on Friday.

The 2014 Skyshow will begin at 3 p.m. There will be live music, aerial performances, a ferris wheel, rock walls, inflatables,  food and drink vendors and of course the fireworks extravaganza following the Charlotte Knights baseball game.

“It truly is a day for family and friends to come together and it’s going to be a great show,” Knights Chief Operating Officer Dan Rajkowski said.

The fireworks will be choreographed to patriotic music.

There will plenty of spots in uptown to see the fireworks display from. Fireworks will be lined up behind centerfield at BB&T Ballpark.

Fox 46 Carolinas will be set up outside of BB&T Ballpark with a booth all afternoon and evening -- we even have some cool items to give away. Please come say hello and join us in celebrating the Fourth of July.
