Fighting ALS One Pint at a Time

Posted: Updated:

A brewery brings people together for fun and laughs. Triple C Brewery in Charlotte is no exception.

"We do a weekly pilot batch," said Chris Harker, owner of Triple C. "We also have a food truck out here who made a special sandwich, lobster and mac & cheese."

Sounds fun, right? It was but tonight brought people together for another reason.

Ashley Godwin lives in Charlotte and frequently visits Triple C. She chose that location to have an event to raise money for her mothers ALS clinic of excellence in Greenville, SC.

"It just all kind of came together," said Godwin. "It's a great feeling to be surrounded not only by family and friends but this great community."
