Both players happy to focus on football, rather than recuperation
Panthers Embracing Health of Davis and Stewart

A year ago, Jonathan Stewart wasn't able to participate in the Carolina Panthers minicamp. Two years ago, Thomas Davis wasn't able to, either.
This year, both players are healthy, and able to focus on football, rather than recuperation.
Panthers head coach Ron Rivera says that's an important thing, as the team prepares for the 2014 season.
"It's good to see them move around," Rivera said. "You know, last year, about this time (Davis) came up to me and said 'You know, coach, it's great to work on me, not on my knee. That was good to hear.
"Jonathan Stewart said the same thing. This is the first time he felt like he was really able to cut it loose. So, it's good to see guys like that recovering, and being ready to play football for us."
