Charlotte, NC - Lots of Hornets fans are excited about the big unveiling of the new uniforms and they all have an opinion on the style. Time Warner Cable Arena welcomed dozens of fans Thursday afternoon, who all wanted a first-hand look at the uniforms, and many of them were disappointed they couldn't purchase the jerseys immediately. “My goal is to be the first person in the streets of the world with the jersey on, with the shorts, everything,” said Gsus Session, a season ticket holder.

While many of the fans said they were excited about the colors and the Hornets name, they did offer a few complaints. “I definitely love the material...a little disappointed they didn’t bring the pinstripe back, I heard that they were going to," said Hornets fan, James Gilpatrick.

Cameron Blackmon, a local fan, said he's been following the buzz about the unveiling on Twitter and liked what he saw in the store, but "I kind of wish that the inside of the numbers, on the alternate or away, I kind of wish that they would have had a little white in it."

Others were just happy to be able to say they saw the uniforms in person. "Now I get to take pictures and show my friends that I saw them before they did," explained Terrance Reid, as he snapped photos of the jerseys.

Fans can begin pre ordering the uniforms in August, but they won't be in stores until around September or October.
