We may be getting sunny skies this weekend, but one Rock Hill family is still under water. Thursday's flooding filled their yard and home, covering the entire bottom floor with inches of water. Why they're blaming SCDOT.

This morning Elver and Rogelio almost got attacked by a dog following them as they walked to Raleigh. The group of Charlotte students is now taking shifts walking and driving in the car.

On his shift, Rogelio almost slipped and fell on a sign. To top it all off, Elver, the leader of the group, is new to taking selfies. It took him and Rogelio five minutes to take just one selfie.

Rogelio Gallegos joined the group yesterday afternoon. He's a rising senior at East Meck High School.

Rogelio's parents brought him and his sister from El Salvador to Charlotte when he was just 6 years old. He's been a student at Charlotte Mecklenburg schools ever since.

He joined the walk three days into the journey so he could attend his sister's high school graduation on Wednesday morning.

The group has walked about 55 miles so far to Raleigh.
