The group of Charlotte students walking to Raleigh have started their third day of the journey.

So far they've walked 35 miles out of the total 140.

Everyone is sore, has blisters on their feet, and is tired after a short nights rest of six hours.

One member of the group needed a ride from the car accompanying the students.

There have been good Samaritans along the way to help out by donating water and motivating the group to reach their goal.

Today's destination is Denton.
