I am ecstatic to be back in the Carolinas, and back on air! I spent fifteen years in the broadcast new business before taking a break to start a family, write a book and build a Sports Media consultancy. While I certainly enjoyed my new directions, I never lost the “bug.”

Four-year old Eliza O'Neill has Sanfilippo Syndrome... and will slowly deteriorate and die without proper treatment.

There's already a cure, that is just now being produced, thanks to money raised through a Go Fund Me "Saving Eliza" Campaign.

Now Eliza's family is launching a new phase of the campaign to start clinical trials with the drug.

The ultimate hope is that Eliza can be one of the kids to take part in the trial... and do so in enough time to save her life.

Barbara Lash spoke to the family about the next phase of their fundraising effort to raise a million bucks in the month of June.
