    (UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) –KNIGHTS- Andy Wilkins launched his 29th home run of the season, added his 35th double of the year, and helped lead the Charlotte Knights to an exciting 17-4 win over the Gwinnett Braves on Monday from BBT Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte.
    (UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) –KNIGHTS- Andy Wilkins launched his 29th home run of the season, added his 35th double of the year, and helped lead the Charlotte Knights to an exciting 17-4 win over the Gwinnett Braves on Monday from BBT Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte.
Charlotte, NC- Former American League MVP and two-time Cy Young Award winner Denny McLain met fans and signed autographs at BB&T Ballpark. The autograph session took place during the Charlotte Knights doubleheader against Rochester. 

McLain won 131 games over his 10-year Major League career, but is best known as being the last pitcher in Major League Baseball history to win 30 games in a season. The three-time American League All-Star won a career-best 31 games in 1968 as a member of the World Series winning Detroit Tigers.
