Hey, Hey Carolinas! I'm doing the job I love in the place I love, my hometown. I grew up in Concord and I'm grateful to be back home telling the stories of such wonderful people in and around the Charlotte area.

This morning a deer ran across the street and into the parking lot at CMC Northeast in Concord. The deer then jumped over a hedge and onto an employee's car, then got scared and ran through a loading dock door and into a hallway of the hospital.

Employees corralled the deer into a storage closet and called Animal Control. Hospital officials say the deer was released back into the wild later on by Animal Control.
