A Gaston County woman spent three last minutes in jail last week. The reason? She couldn’t have it her way at Subway.
That’s right--Belvalante Michette Hall called emergency personnel to complain about getting marina sauce on her meal instead of “pizza sauce” at Subway on Cox Rd. in Gastonia.
“I’m down here, these people done took my money, they gave me marina sauce, I thought it was pizza sauce,” Hall told dispatchers.
The dispatcher calmly asked Hall to clarify what she meant.
“It’s terrible,” she said. “They won’t even make me a pizza just to solve this problem.”
Hall was arrested for misuse of the 911 System. She quickly posted bond and was released.
We attempted to speak with Subway, but did not receive an answer.
