Known for my unconventional reports, I am a digital journalist for My FOX Carolinas in Charlotte. I was born a long time ago in Syracuse, New York. Since then I have spent most of my life in Pennsylvania and Colorado. My biggest weakness: I have no weaknesses. I’m a smooth operator, operating correctly, and a master of journalism according to the University of Colorado.

What was supposed to be an epic unveiling of a 50-year-old time capsule, turned out to be an epic fail.

Hundreds gathered at the Regal Park Terrace to see the historical items contained within, but were disappointed when the capsule was opened, revealing a crock of slop.

Charlotte native, George Martin said “it’s inexcusable to hide anything for that long of time without making sure that it’s hermetically sealed. I was disappointed.”

Over the years, the capsule was apparently saturated with five decades worth of rain, destroying the majority of its contents.

The most anticipated item was a letter written by former mayor, Stan Brookshire, which was to be read by the current mayor, Dan Clodfelter. Unfortunately the letter was destroyed.
