It's finals time at Davidson College.

While some students are studying, some came together for something different.

Students were upset because they say Davidson's "Sexual Misconduct Policy" is not strict enough.

"You can be expelled from campus for cheating on a test but the maximum penalty for raping another student would be a suspension," says Davidson student, Jordan Luebkmann.

"I think it's important to look at our redaction policy and make sure the inclusion and exclusion of evidence is sensitive to the case," says Davidson student, Susanna Vogel.

Davidson College students marched around campus all morning with signs.

It was part of "Safe Walk."

Davidson President Carol Quillen and the staff plan to work with students and look at their suggestions.

"We always review our policy and look for ways of improving it, " said Davidson President, Carol Quillen.

Even though finals are right around the corner, everyone was happy with today's turnout.

"It's very inspiring to see students taking time off from that to support such an important cause," says Vogel.
