    Chikungunya virus has arrived in Cabarrus County. The patient had recently traveled to a Caribbean country.

Salisbury Police have found a live grenade on 429 North Lee Street (Beggars Bazaar).

Police say employees were going through boxes from an estate that had been cleaned  out and found the grenade.

The Cabarrus Bomb Squad is on scene.

Some of the business  in the area are cleared.

No word yet on injuries.
