New Age Spirituality takes on many forms: intuition, tarot, meditation, psychic ability. There is a woman in Charlotte who some say can do it all. They call her the Queen of Intuitives. She says she can see spirits and predict the future.

Buddhism is slowly growing across the Carolinas. It's a religion grounded in peaceful meditation. Now, the religion is starting to make noise in Charlotte, an emerging fixture in this City of Churches. The Charlotte True Buddha Temple offers a traditional style of Buddhism.  The Temple is seeking new, young members.  The Vajradhara Buddhist Center in Uptown offers meditation classes and more.  A diverse group of patrons finds this modern spin on Buddhism alluring.

Drivers say they are sick and tired of the traffic jams along I-85 and Cox Rd. in Gastonia and I-85 in Main street in Lowell.  Tuesday night, Gastonia City Council voted unanimously to use $100,000 in funding for a traffic study; the funds are provided by the Gaston, Lincoln, Cleveland Metropolitan Planning Organization.   The study will search for a solution to the traffic snarls that worsen during rush hour.

The area along I-85 and Cox Road becomes congested, in part, due to hot spots in the area, businesses that draw customers from across the area, including students from Belmont Abbey who say the traffic is a nightmare.  Lisa Drum, who works in the area, says the intersection is notoriously dangerous.  "I am mainly concerned about the ramps from Cox Road onto I-85.  My son-in-law was in an accident there.  It's dangerous."

Gastonia will select a firm to complete the traffic study.  Once the results are available, the task of fixing the problem and managing the mayhem can begin.
