Teaching Through Glass: Trinity Episcopal School Teacher uses Google Glass

Posted: Updated:

Charlotte, N.C. (WJZY) -- We're used to seeing iPads, Google Chrome books, and SMART Boards in the classroom.

What about Google Glass?

Dee Lanier is a technology teacher at Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte. This Tuesday, a class of 1st graders is getting its first hands on experience with google glass.

Dee's been experimenting with Google Glass for two months. He got the new technology thanks to a partnership with Discovery Place.

Since the technology is so new, there's no official list of all the ways to use it in education. That's a big part of Dee's mission: pioneer the way.

Dee will be heading up Google training for educators at the Discovery Place this June. Stay connected to myfoxcarolinas.com for the date and details of the event.
