An SUV has plowed into a line of people waiting outside an Orange County ice cream parlor, killing a woman and injuring six others.
Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi says the car rammed into a people standing outside Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour in Buena Park shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.
He says a 60-year-old woman was critically injured and died at a hospital.
Two other people had moderate injuries and four had minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Televised news reports showed a silver SUV pushed up over a curb and stopped against a bench. A man said to be in his 80's was apparently trying to get out of a handicapped spot and went forward instead into the crowd. He was not hurt.
