Jon Dick Finds His Roots at Rural Hill Scottish Festival

Posted: Updated:
Huntersville, N.C. – The Rural Hill Scottish Festival and Loch Norman Highland Games went down over the weekend.
There is a lot of Scottish heritage in the region, so this festival offers a great way to witness the way they used to live and dress.
More than 30 Scottish clans made and appearance as well as several traditional and Celtic rock bands.

For the clan members who felt energetic, there were plenty of competitions to get involved in.  Everything from tug-o-war, to battle axe challenges.
