Secret Butt-Lift Surgery

Posted: Updated:
Neptune, New Jersey (My9NJ) - Marizell Santiago of Neptune, New Jersey is a mother who had always dreamed of having a bigger butt. She said that bigger-behinds are actually common among the Hispanic culture.

“As a Hispanic woman, you like some little volume back there…I think it's just because you can shake it and move it, and the men seem to like that too,” she explained.

Santiago grew up with a flat butt her whole life and she wanted to change that, so she opted to have the Brazilian Butt-Lift surgery and chose to keep it a secret from her husband at first. In fact, she originally told him she was going in for a back surgery procedure instead.

“Two days later I told him what it was for and first he was disappointed that I didn't tell him, but then he was happy about it,” Santiago said.

She confirms that after the surgery, things in the bedroom started heating up for her and her husband.

“He wants to show me off more and he seems to be touching me more, caressing and ya know back there and it's a good feeling to know you're wanted. It’s a good feeling,” she said.

Santiago opted to have the legal procedure done, but many other women dreaming of a big butt do it illegally and if they survive, they end up with more issues than they could ever dream of.

Plastic Surgeon Dr. Sheila Bond said that it’s extremely common to have women come in who have taken the black market route to enhance their behind. She said this is often done with silicone that you can buy right at your local hardware store and she even had one patient who came in with melted tire injected into her butt. That patient was unable to sit down for longer than 10 minutes for an entire year.

“From what I’ve heard is that they’re not sure what they're being injected with. I’ve heard it’s anything from Home Depot supplies to melted tires,” Dr. Bond explained.

Dr. Bond often has to retreat these patients who come in with these kinds of black market procedures by using liposuction to remove the industrial grade chemicals that have been injected before performing any other legal enhancement surgeries.

The question remains, has our society become so appearance obsessed that women would actually put themselves in harm’s way for a bigger butt?

Recently, Chasing New Jersey uncovered a privacy violation by the NJDEP and Parks Police at Liberty State Park. There, police were putting social security numbers on parking tickets and citations that were being left on vehicles for anyone to see. Well now the ACLU has sent a letter to the NJDEP telling them to stop with this practice because it's against people's constitutional rights. ACLU Legal Director Edward Barocas further discussed the organizations involvement.
