Charlotte, N.C. - There’s a lot of women out there who never learned to walk in a pair of high heels properly. Dan “The Shoe Man” Mauney, a 22-year veteran in the shoe business says, “when a lady walks like a baby calf across the floor, everything is lost.”

Dan hosted Charlotte’s first ever high heel walking class at his store, SHU, in South End, where they ate hors d’oeuvres and drank champagne while learning about the pains of walking in pumps.
