What's more All American for the Fourth of July than a good old hot dog? If you're looking for a patriotic meal, you can head to either Dilworth or Ballantyne and check out JJ's Red Hots.

Charlotte, NC - Can't decide if you are in the mood for a burger or some sushi? Why not have both?
At a popular spot in SouthPark, that is gaining national recognition for its culinary mashup, you can!

The Cowfish calls itself a Sushi Burger Bar. Check out tables when you walk in and you'll see people munching on sushi rolls, huge hamburgers, and something call "Burgushi".

Restaurant expert Sarah Crosland recently visited to check out the creative combos.

"Burgushi is a mashing together of sushi and hamburgers," said co-owner Alan Springate. "We take sushi items and turn them into burgers, and we take burgers and make them into sushi rolls."

Springate says they weren't sure what would be more popular when they first started the concept, but has since discovered that things are split pretty much 50/50 between orders for burgers and orders for sushi.

The restaurant also has a huge bar area that features craft cocktails and local beers.

The Cowfish is located at 4310 Sharon Road.
