More than 100 men took the streets to walk a mile in high heels. There was a special reason behind it all; it was to raise money for Safe Alliance, a non-profit organization in Charlotte. Safe Alliance assists and houses victims of domestic violence.

While most teens are learning to drive, these teens are learning to fly.

"I've always wanted to fly. It's always been my dream," says Bradley Hleeak, who is taking a course in aviation at Christ the King Catholic High School.

He's only a junior, but Hleeak is already getting some miles in the air, virtually for now.

Christ the King School offers aviation as a course. This is the first time students can learn on the fly....literally.

"No other school has done this that I've looked at,” says Hleeak who is excited to take the class.

The class is taught by Bill Fountain, a retired United States Air Force fighter pilot, who brought his passion of flying into the classroom.

"My principal said hey, you're bringing aviation with you, so let's look at some electives," says Fountain.

He has *high expectations for the course.

"We hope to actually somewhere along the line add a wind tunnel to it and maybe actually the good Lord be willing get an airplane," says Fountain.

Not only are the students learning how the plane flies, they are taught the mechanics and physics of it, along with factors that play a part such as weather.

It will come to use one day for Hleeak when he ventures off in his own plane.

"I was thinking maybe taking something up in the military so I have good eyesight so I thought flying ya know, it's cool, not a lot of people do it," says Hleeak.

Don't be surprised if you see this future pilot in the sky soon!
