    Well, a group of girls in Concord is just getting started.

    They're learning from World Cup champion Mia Hamm.


Charlotte, N.C. (WJZY) -- Got a used pizza box? Now you can toss it in your recycling bin.

Mecklenburg County and the City of Charlotte now accept pizza boxes in their recycling facility.

The Recycling Center Manager says pizza boxes have less residue and oil then they did previously. He says the small amount of residue left on the box no longer poses a threat to the recycling system.
