Discovery Place is exploring the possibility of life on another planet with a new exhibit this June.

"We're excited.  We'll have a film called Androids and Aliens that is coming here to Charlotte. It's an exciting new exhibition.  A lot of that research helps scientists look externally when we are looking at different planets and solar systems that they could be possibilities of life living out there,” says Discovery Place Exhibitions and Operations Vice President,  Joanie Vandenberg Phillip.

“The Hubble” is currently in rotation at the IMAX.

Mark your calendars to explore the stars with a "Star Party" hosted by the Charlotte Astronomer's Club. The next “Star Party”  is on April 8th at 7:30 pm.

The party is free and is on the level 3 parking deck at Discovery Place.  There will be guides to help you and telescopes to use from the UNCC Observatory.
