Charlotte Church raises money for mission trip to Honduras

Posted: Updated:
What started as a mission to feed the hungry, ended in a desire to provide medical attention as well in the country of Honduras.

The Hope Community Church of Metrolina in Charlotte, NC want to make a difference in Honduras. Last year, a group from the church traveled to Honduras on a mission to feed the hungry. While there they noticed how much medical attention was needed.

This year a group of 12 people will travel to provide medical attention to Hondurans who can benefit from it. They are expecting to care for at least 300 to 400 people. The group will leave on April 26th and return on May 2nd.

"Jesus is the only inspiration behind this," says Dr. David Locklear. He is looking forward to providing the much needed medical attention that the Hondurans need.

If you would like to donate to the medical missionary trip, you can visit the church's website at http://hopemetrolina.org/.
