Indian Trail, NC - Metrolina Christian Academy in Indian Trail has a strict set of guidelines as to what their students can and can't wear to prom. They require girls to take a picture of their prom dress, and send it to a prom committee consisting of female teachers, for approval.

The school says it helps students pay attention to modesty, and also encourages them to dress their age.

While the style of prom dresses have changed over the years, and teenagers want more revealing and skimpy dresses, the owner of the dress store Wedding Dress Me in Indian Trail, NC says this year girls are looking to be a bit more conservative.

Wedding Dress Me has a seamstress on site who can add modesty fabric to any dress, in order to make it more appropriate.
