Brooklyn, NY - Despite a solid night from Al Jefferson, the Charlotte Bobcats lost to the Brooklyn Nets, Wednesday night.

Deron Williams led the Nets with 25 points and 8 assists, as the Nets held off Charlotte in the 4th quarter.  Charlotte trailed by 5 to start the fourth, and despite outscoring the Nets in the final frame, could not overcome the margin.

Jefferson scored 18 points and hauled in 12 rebounds -- and was aided by four other Bobcats in double-figures (Gerald Henderson, Gary Neal, Cody Zeller and Chris Douglas-Roberts) -- but Charlotte couldn't overcome six Nets in double-figures.

Charlotte falls to 33-36 on the season. They face the Blazers on Saturday night.
