A surprise move prompts big changes to the controversial gun bill going through the Georgia legislature.
Lawmakers have taken out part of the bill that would de-criminalize guns on college campuses.
The bill says that schools can still decide whether or not they want a staff member to be armed.
The bill also says gun license holders will be able to take their weapon into a bar or a church, if the bar owner or the congregation allows it.
Today was the last day for the Senate committee to hear public comments before the full Senate votes.
