I am the Chief Meteorologist at Fox 46 Carolinas.

I moved to Charlotte after working for the FOX owned station in Orlando. After dealing with hurricanes for 10 years, I missed the snow and decided I was ready for the challenge of a Carolina winter.

I received my Master of Science degree in meteorology from the University of Maryland. I was the first meteorologist in Central Florida to be designated a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society (AMS). I have since been elected Chairman of the Board of Broadcast Meteorology for the AMS. I also hold the National Weather Association (NWA) Seal of Approval.

In my spare time, I have taught meteorology courses to college students. When I am not working, I enjoy pretty much anything outdoors. I also have an interest in classic cars. In fact, I have two of them  - a 1965 Mustang and a 1955 Thunderbird, which has been in my family since 1966.

I live in Charlotte with my wife who works for the competition, and our two cats.
