I took a break from the business to start a family and build a Sports Media consultancy, but never lost the “bug.”
I am ecstatic to be back in the Carolinas, and back on air! I spent fifteen years in the broadcast new business before taking a break to start a family, write a book and build a Sports Media consultancy. While I certainly enjoyed my new directions, I never lost the “bug.”

Charlotte, NC - NASCAR's Jeff Gordon is back at it... taking unsuspecting folks on crazy rides for his Pepsi Max commercial series.

Last year it was a car salesman.

This time it was the journalist who questioned the legitimacy of last year's commercial. Instead of pretending to be someone shopping for a car, Gordon was disguised as a cab driver who recently got out of prison.

I interviewed the journalist, Travis Okulski, about the ride that scared the daylights out of him.

One of the questions I asked: "Now when the State Trooper said 'get out of the car with your hands up,' and he (Jeff Gordon) put the car in drive... you got really nervous then?!?"

"Yeah. Nervous is one way to put it. I thought... I thought that I was gonna die to be honest," Travis said.

Check out the Pepsi Max commercial on YouTube.
