Lenoir-Rhyne University is getting closer to having a chapel. The project began in March of 2013.

“When you undertake the construction of a facility, like a chapel, an enormous amount of thinking and preparation needs to go into the consideration,” said Dr. Robert Allen.

The nearly $5 million facility will seat up to 425 people and will be open to all faiths.

“We are Lutheran in orientation, but at the same time, every faith group will be welcomed in this chapel,” said Allen.
