Woly Ali just bought the Landmark Restaurant in Salisbury. He said the restaurant is growing. The backyard of his restaurant literally touches a new set of railroad track that will eventually connect Salisbury and Raleigh. A hustle and bustle that is a welcomes change.

The new rail system is owned and operated by the NC DOT. The $520 million dollar project hopes to improve the rail system in the state – while encouraging people and freight to travel along the rail lines, instead of the state highways.
