IKEA Store Evacuated Due To Fire

Posted: Updated:
Charlotte, NC - The IKEA store in northeast Charlotte was evacuated for a short time Saturday morning due to a fire.
Fox 46 viewer Sarah Crosland tweeted out a picture of shoppers standing out in the parking lot with fire engines in front of the building. Crosland told Fox 46 that customers were told there was small fire in the back of the building that was quickly put out. Shoppers were allowed back into the store after the fire had been put down.
