Fort Mill Man Captures UFO's On Tape

Posted: Updated:
In just the last week, Quang Tran’s YouTube videos have gotten 5,000 hits.

“I go outside and saw something very bright in the sky and used my camera to record,” said Quang Tran.

Tran says late last Thursday --- he spotted two UFO’s outside his home in Fort Mill.

Tran says the flashes lasted about a minute.

“It was a white color. I don’t think it was an airplane,” said Tran.

Tran’s daughter also caught a glimpse of it.

“It was bigger than a plane - the light itself was a very white bright light,” said Cindy Tran.

But a local expert says there’s a perfectly rational explanation for the sighting.

“If it were an aircraft or alien craft, it should have more of a definite shape - it’s possibly a balloon released from a party,” said Planetarium Director, Jim Craig.

UFO or not Tran says he still checks the skies just in case those lights re-appear.

“I watched a lot of videos on about UFOs but I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s a real UFO or not.”

“I don’t believe in UFOs sadly!” said Cindy Tran.

Tax day has come and gone. Still, it's an annul event that comes with its share of anxiety for many filers throughout the Carolinas. This year, for married gay coupes in North and South Carolina, tax day came with an extra hitch. For the first time in the Carolinas, married gay couples could file federal taxes jointly, but because gay marriage is not legal in either state, gay married couples had to file state taxes as individuals.
