    I took a break from the business to start a family and build a Sports Media consultancy, but never lost the “bug.” 
    I am ecstatic to be back in the Carolinas, and back on air! I spent fifteen years in the broadcast new business before taking a break to start a family, write a book and build a Sports Media consultancy. While I certainly enjoyed my new directions, I never lost the “bug.”

    A 200th anniversary of the National Anthem in Charlotte, called Star-Spangled Sunday, drew hundreds.  Through song, video messages and a series of speakers, they talked about the significance of the National Anthem, and touched on issues like the June 30th Supreme Court ruling on Hobby Lobby.

A Mooresville High School junior is coming to the defense of his football coach.

Coach Hal Capps has been for years leading his players in prayer after practice and games.

But the Freedom from Religion Foundation asked the school district to put an end to the practice, calling it a violation of the Constitution.

While student athlete Dallas Jackson understands the separation of church and state, he still thinks his team should pick up where his coach was forced to leave off.
