Two of the English Premier League's top teams will come to Charlotte in August. The International Champions Cup brings Manchester City and Liverpool to Bank of America Stadium on August 2nd.
Manchester City and Liverpool are two of the top four teams in the current EPL standings, and they are the two highest scoring teams in the league.
Both clubs have some top-level talent. Manchester City features Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Yaya Toure and others. Liverpool is headlined by Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, Lucas Leiva, and more.
According to the first reports (from WorldSoccerTalk.com and billvoth.com), the game will be at 6 o'clock. The game is the third to be played on August 2nd. But neither of the other two games are in Charlotte. The first two games -- AC Milan vs. Olympiacos at 2 p.m., and Real Madrid vs. Manchester United at 4 p.m. -- will be held in Hartford, CT and Ann Arbor, MI respectively.
