The Heroes Of 'Miracle On The Hudson'

Posted: Updated:
Wednesday marked the fifth anniversary of the infamous landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River. Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III and First Officer Jeff Skiles along with crew members became heroes when landing the Airbus A319 safely after losing both engines when a flock of geese hit them. The flight originated out of Charlotte. The plane is on display in Charlotte, but the public can only see the outside of the aircraft. Check out our slide show from pictures My Fox Carolinas News Operations Manager Stewart Pittman took inside the plane.
