Gift giving is done over the holidays, but re-gifting is done after.
What to do with a gift that’s not so perfect, ask for Simone McDowell, owner of HoneeBee Gifts.
McDowell is a professional gift giver. She gives tips, shops for those looking to purchase the perfect item and holds 30 minute consultations to help people shop well. HoneeBee Gifts is an online business and McDowell loves shopping and finding items for struggling shoppers.
“I have always had a love for shopping and I found myself always giving gift ideas to friends and family,” said McDowell.
She started blogging in 2008 as a way to organize her gift ideas.
“The blog organically turned into a business where I offered personal gift shopping and gift consolations.”
On Saturday, January 11 McDowell will give those who received not so perfect gifts over the holidays a chance to re-gift and give their gifts to someone who may love it.
The re-gift giving party is at Interior Motives located on 2425 South Blvd. The party will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and open to the public.
Entry is only free for those who bring a $10 value gift. Those who do not bring a gift will have to pay $10.
McDowell says, there will be food, jewelry, clothes, candles, mimosas, and more at the event and a great time to network.
