The FBI tipped its hat to 300 Huntersville students Friday.
Jay M. Alexander Middle School students received top honors from the FBI-SOS (Safety Online Surfing) for posting the best scores in the Agency’s Internet Challenge. One thousand schools participated nationwide.
This is the second time a Charlotte-Mecklenburg School has received the award, and the first year Jay M. Alexander has participated in the program.
The challenge is a range of online internet safety games for kids grades three through eight. By playing, kids learn how to avoid dangerous situations on the internet, including online predators and cyberbullying.
