Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith Runs in Bitter Cold Temps

Posted: Updated:

The local non-profit organization, F3 chose to brave the bitter cold, during their one mile run today.

"We were motivated. Here we are a bunch of 40 year-old kids ready for recess." Andrew Birch was one of 21 guys in F3. They ran in 7 degree weather at Highland Creek Elementary School, at 5:30 a.m.

Birch and the rest of the group were dedicated. "Our motto is to build,” he said. “I can't even speak it's so cold,”

F3 stands for fitness, fellowship, and faith. Their goal is to motivate men in the community, no matter the weather.

The guys powered through this morning’s run with their faith and determination.

The group prays after their workouts. "Help us all to have a wonderful day and know it isn't really that cold, it's just a little chilly. We've already been outside for an hour in it.
