DURHAM, N.C.--Former East Mecklenburg star Jeremy Ingram continues to have a solid season for North Carolina Central. Ingram was named MEAC Player of The Week on Monday after averaging 30.5 over two games last week.
Ingram scored a career-high 37 points Sunday night against no. 10 Wichita State as NC Central (7-3) fell 77-66. He hit 7-of-13 three-point attempts in that game. Earlier in the week he scored 24 points in a win over Winthrop in a game where he passed the 1,000 point-mark for his career.
Ingram is currently third in the nation with an average of 24.6 points per game.
