Program gives pajamas to children in need

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA, Ga. -

Winter is approaching, and its a tough time of year for needy families and children. Many of us donate coats to help keep kids warm, but what about bedtime?

Many children are in desperate need of a warm pair of pajamas to wear. However, an Atlanta-based company has stepped up to help. The children's clothing company Carter's has dedicated themselves to delivering new, warm pajamas and books to children in need.

The program partners with agencies such as Sheltering Arms in midtown Atlanta, providing childcare and early education for low income, working families.

The pajama program needs you to help accomplish its goal of keeping kids warm at night.

You can donate a new pair of pajamas at any Carter's store. There is  also a collection bin at the alliance theater.

Donations can also be made online.

Donations made in a local Carter's store will be given to a local shelter.
