Bank of America Gets Unlimited WiFi Access

Posted: Updated:
CHARLOTTE - People visiting the Bank of American Stadium will have better access to WiFi. AT&T has expanded their WiFi throughout the stadium allowing visitors to tap into the service even if they are not AT&T customers.

“The Carolina Panthers were looking to make that investment to provide WiFi and enhanced coverage at Bank of America Stadium,” said Vice President of AT&T and General Manager, Cristy Swink in a news release. “It’s just one of the ways we’re investing in North Carolina.”

During football games Panther fans will be able to use their smartphones to upload photos and video to their Facebook page, taunt rival fans on Twitter, get up to the minute scores, and highlights from around the football league on the Internet.

“AT&T has expanded the WiFi throughout the entire stadium and any carrier will be able to access their WiFi”, said Josh Gelinas of AT&T Corporate Communications.

BofA and AT&T finalized the network project agreement before this year's football season. Visitors should be able to tap into the new amenity starting this week.
