Recipes: Sides for your Thanksgiving turkey

What will you put with that turkey?  Some say sides can make the meal, so we called in the experts from Baked in East Cobb to offer us some suggestions that will make your mouth water.

Here are the recipes they prepared on Good Day:

Roasted cinnamon and honey sweet potatoes
Serves 4
• 4 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
• 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling potatoes after cooked
• 1/4 cup honey
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Lay the sweet potatoes out in a single layer on a roasting tray. Drizzle the oil, honey, cinnamon, salt and pepper over the potatoes. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes in oven or until tender.

Cornbread stuffing with andouille sausage
Serves 4-6

1 box of cornbread
2 celery stalk
1/2 onion
2 links of smoked andouille sausage
1 egg
Salt and pepper

Cook cornbread to specifications on the box and let cool. Dice celery, onion, and andouille sausage. In a preheated sauté pan add a teaspoon of olive oil then sweat the celery and onions with a little salt and pepper then remove from pan and sauté off the andouille sausage. Let cool and then add the vegetables and cooked sausage to the crumbled cornbread add the egg and season with a little more salt and pepper. Cook in a greased oven safe pan in a 350 degree oven for 20-30 mins or until the temp reaches 165.
